The Lady Longhorns had their highest point total of the day, but giving up 36 points in forfeits was too much to overcome to get a win. The ‘Horns won 4 of the 7 contested bouts in the dual. Senior Alayana (160) started off the dual with a first period pin. Freshmen Paris Willis (170) got her first win of her career with a first period pin. Sophomore Catie Kerr (116) got the ‘Horns back on the scoreboard with a hard fought 7-2 decision. Finishing out the scoring for the Lady Longhorns was Senior Allyssa Pirro (137) with her third pin of the day. Sophomore Nevaeh Yarber won her second exhibition match of the day. Freshmen Larrisa Krantz and senior Jessica Rivera had hard fought battles in their extra matches as well.
