The Longhorn Varsity Softball team showed a tremendous improvement from past years as Lutheran West split a double header with Rocky River. Game 1 saw the Longhorns on top 10-7 heading in to the bottom of the 8th inning. Rocky River was able to manufacture 4 runs for the win, but nonetheless an impressive start.

Laura Thrasivoulou (Thra-see-voo-loo) has been hired to serve as the next Head Varsity Volleyball Coach and Program Director at Lutheran West. Thrasivoulou comes to Lutheran West after an 11-year stint at Avon Lake High School as an assistant coach. During her time at Avon Lake, she was a part of two conference championships in the

Congratulations to the 10 Lutheran West Indoor Track & Field State qualifiers who competed this past weekend.  The meet was held at SPIRE in Geneva, Ohio on Friday, March 5th.  The team was well represented by 8 throwers and 2 high jumpers.
